I drew Hortense in ballpoint pen, pencil, and colored pencil on paper. This is true of the original six (Penelope, Leopold, Percival, Mme Mimieux, and Honoré).
As the very first Fancy Beast I ever made, Hortense will always be special to me. She is also a self portrait: a poet, a goofball, an earnest and idealistic monster looking for kindred spirits.
